woah! why is it that these people can prospect on other peoples gold claims? is there some kind of wierd loophole i dont know about? i was under the impression that nobody else could mine on my claim?

I suspect the mining properties they use are donated by members?

The club could have formed a corporation maybe?

I am not a member of the club, but know some folks who are. Some trusted members hold the claims on behalf of the club. The main benefit of the club is the fact that you can use this large group of claims to prospect as you wish.
